Adjourn Teahouse is an artisanal loose-leaf tea company founded by self-proclaimed tea lover, LaTonia Cokely. The brand encourages us to create intentional moments to re-center and balance ourselves through rituals that allow space to adjourn. Tea brewing, steeping and drinking provides the time to adjourn and is necessary in our daily lives.

Apparel designer Aliya Wanek is the owner of an ethical and sustainable clothing brand with her namesake. The brand purposes to work only with natural fibers and pay living wages to their small batch production team. Aliya encourages that her pieces are meant to be worn often and for a long time. In creating the brand, it was important that Aliya’s work represent women of color, especially black women, as they are often viewed outside the standard of beauty.

Ardor Bin is a luxury candle brand founded by Latrice Littleton. The brand’s candles are made of the highest quality of all-natural coconut / soy wax blend and sustainable wood wicks, hand-poured in Los Angeles, CA. The collection is inspired by the scents of nature and will add a touch of warmth and tranquility to any living space.

Skincare brand, Brown and Coconut, was founded by sisters Letisha and Zeena Brown. They started the brand to address their own issues with severe acne and began crafting products that were powerful enough to heal and nourish the skin. All of the brand’s products are plant-based, non-GMO, and made with organically sourced ingredients.

Bum-Cake is high-quality vintage lingerie, home goods, and intimate products brand founded by NYC based entrepreneur, Christiana Greene. All of the brand’s home goods are made to create positive vibes and promote overall wellness and serenity.

Swimwear brand, Castamira, was founded by Jamaican-born model, Chantel Davis. Chantel’s designs reflect a timeless sensibility that is all her own with influences from the 70’s and 90’s aesthetic. The brand’s pieces fuse feminine elegance with modern edge and a touch of old-world romance. Chantel’s love of nature and respect for the earth are reflected in her use of eco-friendly fibers and Green packaging to reduce environmental impact.

Founded by Cleveland based entrepreneur, Rhandi Foster, Choate Body is an organic skincare brand handmade for normal to problematic skin. The brand uses wrinkle minimizing, toxin fighting, breakout preventing botanicals and oils to restore skin on the face and body. Their popular scrubs and butters are made in small batches to provide the freshest and cleanest ingredients for your skin.

Dehiya was one of the most powerful warriors in Northern Africa. Known as Queen of the Amazigh (“free people”), she was a fearless female warrior who ruled the Amazigh free state in the 8th century and led her people in the resistance against colonization.⠀She remains historically relevant and serves as an inspiration to women throughout Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria today. Founder, Mia Chae Reddy Ph.D., created Dehiya Beauty to return to simple, time-honored beauty. The brand's cold-pressed argan oil is ethically sourced from Morocco. Every ingredient from this line is 100% natural and organic.

This luxury skincare brand was founded by UK-based entrepreneur Ozohu Adoh. The brand began after a fruitless search for products that would treat her dry skin and uneven skin issues. Ozuhu began sourcing organic ingredients from West Africa and finally found a formula that worked wonders. The brand aims to address all the skincare issues faced by women of color, including dryness and discoloration caused by the sun, free radicals and air pollution.

In Greek, the words Eu-Genia (you-geh-knee-ah") mean the origin of goodness. The brand Eu’Genia Shea was founded by Naa-Sakle Akuete and her mother in 2014 and focus on providing products consistent with a long-time family secret - raw, unrefined Ghanaian shea butter. The company is a family-run social enterprise dedicated to all-natural premium shea butter moisturizers and part of their mission includes providing fair wages and opportunities to female workers in Ghana.

Flaunt Body is founded by entrepreneur Cameron Alexis Moore. This skincare brand’s focus is problem-solving and innovation for specific skin concerns. Their inclusive solutions are unisex and consider all skin and skin types, especially sensitive skin.

Founded by My McCarthy, Gavin Luxe is dedicated to sharing the benefits of sensual aromatherapy through a range of products that include the finest quality natural oils, blended in the right way. The brand provides a contemporary interpretation of vintage craftmanship for their products and branding.

Founded by Rebecca Grammer-Ybarra, this company is made up of a team of wellness enthusiasts, artisan makers, and bath addicts. The brand focuses on making safe and non-toxic bath products including their pearlescent herbal bath bomb soaks.

With diverse backgrounds in dermatology, marketing, sales, law and economics, sisters Abena, Akua, and Naana are the co-founders of Karité.
